steering extension - body lift - help!
Hi, this is my first post (i've used search forever and can usually find out what i need but not this time) i got a 2" PA body lift for my 94 p/u as a present and i now know why everyone suggests RB's. This thing is such a pain. my biggest problem is the steering extension though. i'm not sure exactly where the extension is suppost to go. i think it connects at the very front... but if thats the case than i have a very stuborn steering shaft and it just doesnt want to budge. my knuckles are cut up enough to ask for help (but i wouldnt dare ask from pirate4x4). someone draw me a picture or somethin before i go crazy@#@!!
thanks in advance,
julian

ok i'll give it another try today and if i cant get it to work- i'll throw that supid piece away. i wish performance accessories had a representative on this board so i could give him a few words from my mind. thanks for the replies - i'm sure i'll have some more questions when i'm making my softtop. i declare this spring break the spring break of mods.

I'm sure Roger won't mind if you use his instructions. http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/...ft_HowTo.shtml

my first mod is a success!! now i just need some bigger tires to fill these ugly gaps. i'll have to post some pictures after i learn how, i'm sure there is an explanation if i search. finally another pickup on this board. i think that cuts the 4runner:pickup ratio down to 9.5:1
thanks for the help again (oh i ended up not useing the extension)

You probably don't need an extension at 2" on that truck:

If you do, I make a simple, easy to install, bolt-in extension:
