Question stainless steel pipe question

OK this is a dumb one but I can’t find the info I need! I have a new cat back exhaust that is made from 100% polished stainless by Yonaka Motorsports... “For my DD Miata”.. Well it came with a 4" tip, WTF?!! I cut it off as soon as I took it out of the box ! My problem is I can’t find a tip that fits it now! If the ID of the pipe is 2.25 and the outer is 2.36" what do I need to do to get a new tip! Buy one that is 2.25 and have it expanded to fit over the pipe or what! The OD is right about 60mm "my calipers are metric" which would put the OD at 2.36" right? No one that I know makes this size tip! I just want a strait 2.25 or 2.36” stainless tip to weld on, well really just an extension of the muffler since I cut it off a few inches from the 90 right before the back bumper would be fine, it doesnt even need to be shiny! Who needs a 4" pipe tip on any car, unless you’ve got a 10cyl turbo diesel Mack its just freaking stupid! Ricers suck!

If I understand right - you just need a tip?
Buy any tip you like that will slip over your 2 1/4" pipe. They are not normally welded on, they just lock on with a couple of set screws.

I agree with Flamed - it doesn't have to fit tight.

You're going to have a hard time expanding stainless - it's a bit stronger and less ductile than normal exhaust tubing.

Agreed, an exhaust shop can make any kinda pipe fit on it.
