stailness steel braided hose for tranny oil cooler?
What do you think about this?
Is it good to use this for external tranny oil cooler (true-cool)? OR overkill?
This seems ordinary stainless steel hose...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fuel-...Q5fAccessories
This seems AN sized for High pressure application...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MRG-S...Q5fAccessories
Should I just go with regular rubber hose?
The reason of asking this is, .. I am just little bit concerned as I have to mount external tranny cooler right behind front grille where it hit the any flying particle/small rock/debris first.... .... just want to give a little more protection to tranny cooler line if possible....
Any opinion?
Thank you

You have to use it with a cooler that accepts AN fittings and you'd have to find out what size fitting to use where the brass hard line goes into the transmission.
A lot of money to do correctly but it would look nice and you'd never have to worry about a blown line.

Thanks for input.
The motivation of searching stainless steel hose was also due to the concern of rubber hose "being rubbed and damaged by sharp metal edge" in the passage from front ac condenser area to tranny hose out/inlet. I am going to route the hose through either of the passage/hole where AC lines are going through (I shall post a picture....)... if you ever attempt to mount external cooler in front of condenser, you know what I mean...
Maybe, I need to think about the external cooler location again?.... hmmmm....

I just wrapped the hose with a piece of hose that I split down the middle. Did the same with my A/C lines after they had a hole worn through them.
2 years later and no issues and no noticeable wear on the jacketing pieces

Anyway, I just placed an order of regular tranny soft hose (black rubber). If that regular hose doesn't work out for me, then, maybe, I will think about stainless steel hose.. but, I believe what you suggest should work fine.. Thanks
