SS lift... help me choose

ok so i blew out the shocks in my 97 4runner 5spd 4wd. you all know ive been looking around for my best option and changing my mind about 500 times. but I finnally settled on a Sonoran Lift either the #1 or 7. Im one of those people that like the best but the cost was kinda swaying me. Anyways so Im gonna be running 265/75r16 mostly due to this is a DD and mabey twice a month sees a trail. Ill be running Geolandar ATs.
My runner has stock bumpers but I plan on adding sliders soon and I already have a class 3hitch. I also have about 200-300lbs in the rear almost all the time as well as towing a small motorcycle trailer about 400 miles a month.
I know steve would be the best to ask but I want to hear your inputs as well.
Thanks for the input!

The 7 sits level but if your carrying all that weight all the time and towing it might sit low in the back. I'd go with the System 1.

I was thinking the same might as well get the system 1 and if I go system 1 can I run 305/70r16 with mild trimming? or is 285/75r16 my max? without a whole buch of hammering and hacking? I meen really the only think between the 285 and 305 is width. mabey 1 in wheel spacers?

System 7 will also ride more harsh than system 1.

With all the research I did prior to purchasing my suspension lift, the SS 1.1 was the only lift kit that I could find that no one was bad mouthing, every other kit I saw had some sort of negative feedback.

If you want the best, it's going to cost you.

Well I got a steal on some 245/75r16's Goodyear MTR's like new 5 for 500 so I couldnt pass that up. And I ordered my SS 7.2 lift as well. Ill post pictures when I install it hopefully the 18th or 19th of this month. And hopefully after that building my sliders and prerunner bumpers (not a fan of the ARB style bumpers). Thanks all for the help

I don't know why this thread went to this but if your 4Runner is an automatic there is a tranny cooler in the radiator.

I have never owned or ridden in a truck with Cruiser Coils but I have the rear system #7.2 with the exception of OME 891's and I think it rides very well, better than stock or Downey springs I have owned. I can only imagine that the OME 890's would ride better, however I haul and tow a lot of weight.

I should have sent him a private message asking him the type of transmissions he had. I purchased a SS 2.1 kit today, and will run 305/70/16 MTR's. i just wanted to know if fluid temps increased requiring him to install or upgrade cooling. thats all

Hahaha - sorry mayfield, thought you were taking a shot.

I have an automatic - I wasn't aware that I need any additional cooling for my 33's. Most guys on here recommend the transmission cooler and break upgrades if you go with a 35" tire, not a 33 so I never bothered.

Whether the fluid temps increased or not, I don't know - I would imagine that they did a bit, but I've driven an hour straight on the highway and no problems. Hope that helps.
