Squeeling noise when driving .

Squeeling noise when driving .
I started my runner this afternoon .As I pulled away I heard a squeeling sound .Not very loud but it is there . I stopped put it in nuetral and reved up the motor the squeeling was not there . Under power threr is no squeeling .But when I take my foot of the throtle and am rolling the squeeling is there .Any ideas .

sounds like a belt. Try tightning them up a bit; if it doesn't go away buy new ones. Do both at once to save some hastle.
could be something else though I guess.

I bet it is an issue with the brakes, could be caliper not opening and it is rubbin on the rotor....just change the pads if needed and bleed the fluid.

wait, didnt you say it goes away in neutral? So I think maybe it's not Your rear Dshaft slip joint. It could need lubricatrion but if the sqealing is going away in neutral its not likely to be the cause of your noise. It could be but I would look into all options before you start throwing money at it.
Check your belts, if it goes away in neutral, watch your tach, do you RPM's go up when its idleing in Neutral? as opposed to under load. Chances are it is your belts, I had the same problem not to long ago after having my belts serviced, the sqealing wasn't present when I stepped on the gas but was when I was idling. But not when I reved the engine. Try putting some soap or belt dressing on your belts, see if that helps, if not replace them and then work your way back.
