speed sensor wire?

I am trying to install a aftermarket radio and need to hook it up to the speed sensor wire. I have no idea where it is? Can anyone help? I have a 2nd Gen 1994 4runner.
Thanks!!!

Why on earth would you have to hook up a stereo to the speed sensor wire? Anyways the sensor is right on top of the rear diff. The wire runs up the right side of the axle mounts to the frame and the plugs in right on top of the frame up by the gas filler neck. The whole thing is about 3 feet long.

The sensor on the diff is the rear ABS sensor. The VSS is in the back of the transfer case. I know this because I replaced it when my speedo went out.

halycon, try a search for VSS and my name and you'll find some pictures.

It is actually a stereo with built-in GPS. Does the speed sensor wire go into the cabin anywhere? Maybe behind the speedo?

Ah, when I was diagnosing my VSS problem the manual and codes pointed to the rear abs sensor. Maybe that's where the confusion came from.

Halycon, it's got to go into the cab somewhere. I don't know where though. Try searching, I know some people have replaced their speedo.
