spark plugs dont wanna seat and stay seated
Hey it might just be me not tightening them enough. does anyone what is the rewuired torque in the plugs for the 5vz-fe. I'm using the good ones from the dealer (denso) They truck is misfiring, this will be the 3rd time i tightening them. whutcha think?

Wow thats crazy. How much were you torquing them down before?
I usually just go by hand, and tighten to they are snug with a 3/8" ratchet, then do 1/4 turn after that.

Update
My plugs are staying seated now, finally. I had to change a coil pack that was jumping spark for a while now then threw in some new OEM wires and she purrs like a kitten. Just want o thank YT for all the useful info>

Ditto on that Hand tight Just untill I feel the small metal washer crush and then a 1/4 turn after that, snug enough yet not TOO snug....Man I never want to strip my threads...
