spacer lift question

anyone know what kind of wear a 2.5 inch spacer lift cause on my 99 tacoma 4x4 with locking hubs.It looks to me like it puts the upper balljoints at a pretty extreme angle.

most people are more worried about thier CV joints. If your worried that much that you want to replace it. You'll spend about $400-1000 trying to fix the problome. The upper arms itself is cheap as $400 while the full upper and lower arm kits are about a $1000. Check out http://www.allprooffroad.com

yeah, most people worry about the cv shaft angle, which is fixed by a diff drop, you can by one from 4crawler.com

I was talking to a rep from Demello @ the Off Road show today and he said that upper arms were only really necessary if you have UCA contact with the spring. I have a 2" front lift and he said it would be fine. He told me that when the factory ball joints go out THEN most people will switch to the arms since the cost isn't much more to buy new UCAs vs. replacing the stock balljoints.
