SouthEast 4x4 Clubs

I was looking around google for a place to maybe host our own Yotatech trail run since all the guys at odw were not too happy with the idea of having a bunch of yotatechers allong. Anyway... came accross this and thought I would share...

Who wasn't happy about yotatech guys not coming along? I frequent both sites and have gone on several rides with odw people. I would expect that everyone I've gotten to know would be happy to have anyone along on a trail ride. It's about off roading, not what your favorite website is. There's a ride this coming weekend up in the north Georgia mountains, and there's people from odw and a Ford Explorer forum going. I might be going to that on one of the days, but not sure yet.

I recieved a PM from corey saying that there were some people that were not happy about it... I don't know anything more. But either way, I think it would be fun to have one of our own too (not saying we would limit it to us). And havign one down south would be cool too. I mean... i know how much I love those 12hr road trips

Oh! You are talking about the whole 4runner Jamboree for the East Coast, huh? The stuff going on over here:

Well, to me it looks like people are just trying to stir up trouble, and mainly because the event is organized by ODW. Who cares if it's promoted on other sites though, and if other Toyotas want to attend? That's what it's for. I mean, just because one of your neighbors or friends with a sweet 4runner doesn't post on ODW or Yotatech, does that mean he can't go to EC4RJ or that you would have to think twice about inviting him? Oh my goodness, what did we ever do before the internet came along to organize trail rides?

Sarcasm off....

Toyota Only for large events like the EC4RJ is fine, but for smaller trail rides is not necessary (the last ride I went on had a Jeep, 2 Toys, a Scout, and a Montero). I guess I originally thought you were talking about being excluded from the smaller rides based on where you post. Guess I misunderstood. If you ever feel like driving up to north Georgia, you're welcome to ride with any of us up here.

Anyhow, I don't want to stir up any more trouble. Oh yeah, if we do have a ride down here put together by the members of Yotatech, is it going to be 4Runner only? Not trying to instigate anything at all ! ! LOL
