When I go up a steep incline to the right turning (doesnt do it turning left) I hear a loud thong noise which I think something is hitting my skid plate, it has a ring to it, not a stopped sound like hitting frame or rubbing the pinch weld which I know im not doing with my 2 inch bl now installed.

Anybody have any ideas? alignment issues maybe? scares the crap out of me

Do you have a panhard drop bar/bracket?
Check your driveshaft for interference on your gas tank. Mine was rubbing when the rear flexed slightly, and made quide the loud bang.

no I havent dropped my panhard yet, it sounds like it might be coming from the rear, I got stuck on a steep incline in reverse and my rear started to flex and I heard a bang bang bang got evne faster bangbangbang, has to be the driveshaft and gastank I hope im not screwing #### up. last thing I want happening right now

Use a BFH to bang the gas tank skid back in place.

I need to get a good hard look underneath to diagnos this correctly. Thanks for both of the replies

ok it is my gastank and driveshaft

there is a 1x2 inch rectangular piece on the driveshaft that is peeled back, and the skid plate is also peeled back , on the back side, leaving maybe an inch clearance between both, I tried hammering the skid plate back but it wasnt going anywhere. I guess sometime this week im gonna have to take the gas tank skid off and work with it
