Some bling and some Lift Help
Hey guys, so Im just preparing to do the lift on my taco, I have mostly everything, Still waiting on the 5150's from bilstien
I got the 3" allpro kit, which doesnt state it comes with ubolt flip kit but it does, so it also comes with lower shock mounts. As well as the extended brake line..
On to a couple questions, I dont get paid till next week, and I still need some longer bumpstops and some extended brake lines for the front.. (I am going to need ext. brake lines for 881's, Yes ?)
Does ORW sell bumpstops in store? Cause I can pick them up next week rather then ordering them and then waiting another week..
I've been reading and reading other threads to get any useful knowledge on this so Im pretty sure I have my ducks in a line, just making sure..
Thanks guys !!

i don't think you would need longer brake lines if you just want to put the lift on. If you're going to put the lift on and wheel it, maybe...when i put the 882's on my 4runner, i didn't. and i've have still yet to get longer front or rear lines.

So it looks like the bumpstops will be reused, I can easily put them on some plate and some square tubing I have around..
And I think I might be able to get away with out the brake lines, I took a closer look and they have ALOT of slack..
IDK ?

You don't need to extend the brake lines in the front. Obviously in the rear you do.
Donno what the Tacoma bumpstops are like, but, I really like my Daystar bumpstops, I'm sure they'd work for you.

I would suggest Extended brake lines for the rear as well.
I also suggest taking the springs and shocks to a shop for the assembly.
pretty easy job as long as you have the proper tools and plenty of blocks.
I used a farm jack to put the bumper on blocks pulling the wheels a few inches more off the ground than needed, then used a floor jack to raise and lower the axle. I also did this one side at a time! I felt much safer this way.

Hahah
I cant wait either
As for 33's im thinking 255/85's
Which come out to ~~33.4/10. They only make those on 16's so when im ready ill be on the lookout for some 4runner 16's, Cause I like this style..
Oh, 4Runner20 Thank you, I was hoping to get some real world advice..

Take a flat head screwdriver and whack it upwards with a hammer. Try pushing the rubber side towards to relieve the tension.
Yes, that is the clip. I'd just keep working on it with some pliers too. It will come off going upwards .. obviously.

yea i use needle noses for those clips. grab the small flat edge long ways and rock it up and down, it will come right out. as far as front brake lines i have a 3" spacer lift on my 2000 and theres still plenty of slack in them.
oh and 255/85/16 = 33x10.04x16
