Soft Brakes

2nd Gen has soft brake peddle. I rearended someone who could stop on a dime and I could only stop on a quarter. The dealer had recently said the shoes were okay and he had only seen some woman with that many miles on the shoes. I had changed the front pads twice and turned them the last time. At 80k plus the rear shoes had never been changed. When I took it in for damage repair, they said the master cylinder was fine but the rear drums were worn out. They assured me this would fix the softness. Well after new drums and rear shoes, the brake is still soft. I have not been back to the repair shop to let them know it didn't work. Have you ever heard of drums wearing out before shoes? These guys seemed legit and said I could take the old drums to Toy dealer to inspect the wear.. which I didn't. Let me tell you I am no ˟˟˟˟˟ foot on brakes as they are used heavinly speed four wheeling and pumpin to the music

BLEED THE BRAKE LINES.... you might have AIR in them. That would certainly cause the mushy brake pedal problem.
