Smittybuilt step question
I'm going to put my chrome smittybuilt sure-steps up on ebay. I need to know what years they will fit, I took them off my 97. I know 96-98 for sure, but not sure if the brackets are the same on 98+.

Bill, forgot to post last night.
I was on Smitty's site last night, and I plugged in the steps, and it looks like '99 was the last year.

I plugged in 2000, and there was no option to look them up.

now jackson whatever would give you that idea?
Thanks Corey I had seen that info on their site, just wasn't sure if their site wasn't updated or if there was actually something different about the mounts on 2000+.

Let me know
Hey Bill. Shoot me a PM to the link to your auction. I have a 2001 so they might not fit, but I figure it's worth a shot to investigate. Maybe we could take some measurements on each of our 4Runners and then compare them with each other -- we'll see. If they're the same, great! But if not, then you'll know for sure that the won't fit the 2001. It's a win-win situation.

Hey Zach I don't have them up on auction yet, I'm waiting to get something in from UPS that will come in a box that I can re-use to ship them out in, plus I want to clean them up a little bit. But here's what I will do. When I get home from work this afternoon I will snap some pics of the mounts under the body, then you can compare them to yours and we'll know for sure. Check this thread around 5pm cdt

Cool beans
OK Bill, sounds good. While you're taking the pictures, go ahead and measure the distance between the mounting holes on the underside of the 4Runner in either inches or centimeters, whichever works best for you. I'll do the same and let you know tonight or tomorrow if they seem to match.
