I read in another thread that someone had found an option to retrofit a shoulder belt to the middle rear seat on their 4Runner that would attach to the LATCH attachment.

Can anyone point me to the company/distributor that provides this, or if not, a list of the likely 4Runner aftermarket sources that might have it, or know where to get it.

My understanding is that LATCH system would allow use of a child seat in the middle position of the back seat and tether it properly.

I am not aware of a 3rd shoulder belt option on 3rd gens., do you have a 2003 or newer (4th gen) perhaps?

It is a 2002 3rd gen.

Hoping that someone can at least help me out with an outfit that might point me in the right direction. My search on the web has not sourced any 4Runner accessory provider that looks like they are serious about 4Runners.
