Should I pull my injectors?

258,000 miles, I have the upper plenum off (ported and polished and cleaned) right now as im waiting on some tools to arrive to finish my valve shimming.

should I go ahead and yank the injectors and send the off to http://www.cruzinperformance.com/fuelinj.html ?

OF COURSE you should, otherwise you will end up like me and want to do 5 thousand miles after you put your engine back together. After 258k they need to be cleaned and tested so dont try and justify not doing them now while you have your motor apart...DO IT!

Bumpin' - glad to see you decided to take them off. I was extremely pleased at the prompt friendly service i got when I sent mine in. Luckily mine weren't that bad, but I now have peace of mind knowing that the injectors are "good to go" as with the rest of my engine.

You'll never take that for granted again will you? Not after the valve shimming hell you've been through this week.

Where does one send ones injectors to be cleaned and flow tested and how much should one expect to pay?

Thanks,
Jason

I sent mine off just today to http://www.cruzinperformance.com/fuelinj.html right now there is a week delay....

12.95 an injector for before and after flow testing, ultrasonic scaling, and replacement of all o-rings + shipping back. WAAAY cheaper than the 130 I was quoted locally for a dude to clip on a pressurized canister of injector cleaner onto the fuel rails, while pinching off the return line.....

I also did searches for them on LS1 tech, supra forums, and a few other sites. Never once saw anything bad posted.
