Not to mention if you do it. Take lots of pics and post them, that way I can show my banker (wife) what I want for Christmas.

I re-ran my intake on my 22re in my 88' 4runner. I swithched the air intake with the battery. I don't know it yours is the same, but mine ran from the air box across the radiator(make the air nice and warm) and then across the engine and into the engine. I put the battery where the air box was and then put my intake with the k&n where the battery was, which I then had to run the intake about 4-6" from the flapper. I noticed a difference in power on mine, the only thing that is a pain is rewiring the flapper intake sensor.

Hey do you have a picture of this? I put a universal K&N Filter on the end and didn't want to mess around with relocating the battery. Was it easy?

runnerof4:
I noticed a little better throttle response and acceleration, but nothing too drastic. Sounds pretty badass when you rev it though I can post pics if you want.

Unfortunately I don't have a picture. As far as the difficulty goes, it just depends on your wiring capabilities. You have to cut your wires going to the flapper, which is 6-8 I don't quite remember, and add about 2-3' to each wire. The battery cable is fairly simple to extend. I believe it took me about 4-5 hours to do.
