So this isn't private property, isn't tresspassing, and is perfectly legal, right? You wouldn't want to give off roaders a bad name like these guys, right?
Just because there aren't any signs doesn't mean it isn't private property. As far as I know there are no legal areas in the bay area to wheel, except for hollister and some other smaller parks.

Kahuna, your reply shows you have no foresight into what actions like yours can do to our sport. Like everything in this world it only takes a few bad apples to spoil everybody's fun, like hunting, firearms, and off roading. We have too few trails open as it is and they are being threatened by the greenies everyday. Trails at Moab are being closed down as I type this and the trails up highway 4 have been threatened just recently. Even the rubicon is being threatened. I take offense when I see my sport being threatened by a few bad apples.
If you'd like we can set up a hollister run sometime in the future. My truck is a little under the weather right now so I'll have to figure that out first, but I'm sure others would be able to go if you really want to go soon.

Ok, This is how it works. If it's not marked as a trail or road, DON'T GO INTO IT!!!
Clear enough for ya?

This is my favorite mud hole. Top of Bill Moore Lake trail:
FWIW, those are 38.5" tires you cannot see. Mudhole is barely a truckwidth wide and two lengths long with nice steep ledges at the entrance & exit.

ain't it grand how we will always be judged by the actions the idiots in our hobby make. same goes with fishing, hunting, and just about every other hobby out there.
and it seems mostly to me that these kind of people are mud tards...the ones that don't have the brains to crawl rocks or play around on fire roads, so they spend all their money on a set of boogers and a cheap body lift, and tear up people's property. i say we banish them to drive rusty k5 blazers and ramchargers

wow, whos next to join in on the round of persecution. the guy made a mistake and realizes it. fortunately, he wasnt even caught, so for the moment our sport is safe from consequences of his actions. cut the guy some slack.

Not sure how you came to the conclusion that not getting caught makes the sport safe for others. If he'd have been caught, maybe the land owner would only be angry with him. As it is now, the land owner has his place torn up by "those blasted 4wheelers". That's not an improvement.
Yes, the fella realizes he made a mistake, and that's good. But the damage was done. He also hasn't mentioned owning up to it and appologizing to the land owner who's property he tore up. Quote:
