My tacoma has very beat up seats. It has the 60/40 seats and was wondering if it would possible to replace them with bench seats from the same generation. The tacoma is a 2000.

All the seats from the same generation will fit.

I've swapped seats in most of my trucks. While the seats fit, you sometimes have to get creative with the seat belt receivers. I've had them line up in wrong directions and be wrong sizes before when I swapped seats. I think the problem is worse going either to or from bucket seats than it is swapping between 60/40 and full bench, but it's something you should be aware of and make sure it will work before you buy.
