Seats

Folks, Can anyone suggest some decent seats for my 02'. I have the stock Sport Seats and after 90k miles they have lost there support. I cannot find used TRD seats and everything else I looked at is really expensive...

seat

After checking on pricing, it looks like APC sells a set of fair seats for $169 each, so probably in that price range...

Where did they lose their support? Side bolsters? Back? Bottom?

Also, do NOT get the APC seats. Total crap.

I agree....the APC seats are crap. my roommate had them in his ride, and they are horrible. they'll be crap in 500 miles. and the are just looks anyway, they are not comfortable or anything. Good luck though. Let us know what you come up with.

Used seats are always an option, I got these buckets out of an Acura Integra at a junkyard. They are in my '82 pickup.

I would go used seats out of a factory vehicle before you waste your money on blingy cheap racing seats. One of my friend put cheap ebay seats in his Talon and I wanted to get out of the car after 2 miles because they were squeezing my thighs and I only have a 30" waist. I had some decent Corbeau seats in one of my mustangs that cost about 320 ea. and those were ok for me but not if you have larger than a 32" waist. I sold my Corbeau's and bought stock leather seats out of an 05 Mustang which was the best thing I had ever spent my money on, I would recommend those 05+ Mustang seats to anyone in a heart beat, they are supportive and super comfy. Other cars that have nice seats off the top of my head are Acuras', Honda Preludes', 04+ F-150, 05+ BMW 3 or 5 series etc. etc.

Edit, if you find a vehicle in which Recarro made the seats for, those are also all very nice seats. The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO and Mustang Cobra R is a few examples.
