i havent done this yet but ive heard your suppose to put a half can in your gas tank and the other half in the vaccuum on your intake manifold . Through the vaccuum port that goes to your brake booster

yep, you put a third in the brake booster (its the only hose going to the brake cyllinder aka big black round thing) and then you can just dump the rest in your tank. after you suck it up (not too fast!!!) turn your car off. wait an hour or less and start her back up and watch some smoke.
ive done 2 cars through the bb line. both really gave some smoke at first but nothing later. you may experience the same.
pm me if you need help bud.

Nice! I bought a can of seafoam on Sat, but haven't done it yet because I hadn't researched here yet. That sounds easy enough. I'll probably do it tonight. I do remember members saying not to put it in the crankcase though. Might do more harm than good.

Hold your thumb over the vacume line so the engine doesn't try to shut off, DRIBBLE the Sea foam in until the engine sounds like it's about to die, but don't let it, it can be hard to start if you do that. As you are doing this, you will see smoke out the tail. When you are done with half a can, let go of the vac hose and let the engine die. Then let sit for about 15 minutes, fire up, rev a little. Dump remainder in tank. Done. I used to do this all the time while manging an Express lube joint except we had a special can to inject it with a valve to regulate the amount going in instead of using our thumb.

yeah, i held my thumb and i felt the skin sucking in, it was nasty haha. if i were you i would just use some plyers and squeeze it.
x2 you need 2 people to do this, one to keep the engine alive keeping the rev's up and the other to pour it in.

you can only put seafoam in a vaccuum line. the brake booster has a vacuum to it, thats why when you pull it, your engine will feel like its going to die with a very rough idle.
either you put it in the brake booster (heard thats safer) or the pcv line both have vacuum. put 1/3 in there, and just dump the rest in about half tank of gas.
the time i did it to my runner i didnt realize it put half the can in my bb line and i was freaking out, but its fine. its hard to see how much.
ive heard people doing anything from waiting 5 minutes to leaving it overnight. i wait an hour and seems to be fine.

I poured mine in the PCV line, the throttle for the engine is right by your hand sou you can rev it up and while your pouring it it will keep the motor from stalling.

i use 1/2 bottle in pcv, 1/2 bottle in engine, 1 or 2 bottles in gas tank. That will clean out anything and everything in your car.

I can't run it through the vacuum because I don't want to have to replace the oil and plugs cause they are both fairly new....im just looking to do some injector cleaning.

guys 1/2 bottle in the tank aint sheeit!!! what a waste. here is what i do per MTL
1st 2-3 bottles per half a tank or less and run empty
2nd 1 full bottle thru the pcv valve BUT do it in 1/3 increments letting each increment sit for as long as possible. one little tip, do not turn the motor off until you see the smoke starting to poor out then let her sit. the longer the better
you guys that do half a bottle via the pcv and the other half in the tank is such a waste, if you think you feel a difference with that little mess then do it the right way.

btw dont put anything in your motor unless its motor oil!!!
also, when i do this seafoam treatment i do it RIGHT before an oil change and plus i change my plugs. which means i do this every 30k miles
