Saw a 3rd gen. today with some nice wheels...

When I pulled into the parking lot at Home Depot (Tigard Location) today I found a spot next to a 3rd gen. runner so I parked. I noticed he had some wheels that appeared to be stock but I hadnt seen them before on any other 3rd gen. They had 5 spokes, toyota center caps and were 16" wheels. The 3rd gen. runner had chrome door handles, chrome grill and painted to match bumpers. What model of 3rd gen. runner is this and is the owner here on yotatech? Any info is greaty appriciated since the 3rd gen. runner was gone when I came out of the store. I really like these wheels and would be interested in a set for my 2nd gen. runner.

I couldn't get the second link to work. I'll bet these are the one's he's referring to. If so, then you missed a set that I was selling by about 2 weeks. You can get them on ebay for less than $300 a set if you want some.

hmm.. painted bumpers but not grille, huh. id say its someone who got a sport edition 2002 and opted for the chrome accent door handles & grille.

It isnt any of these, but they look somewhat like those LC wheels.

Look up mark_fit in the members list and see if that's the Runner you're talking about. It sounds like the one you're describing.

The 3rd gen. didnt look like yours, it was a greyish color if I remeber right.
