rubbing question

hey guys, just wondering if the BFG mud terrains in the size 265/75/16 will rub on a stock height 3rd gen. i know the all terrains wont rub but thought maybe the muds might rub a little with all that extra meat.

I don't believe they'll rub at all. I'm planning to put 285/75/16s on my 98 with 2 1/2" of lift. From what I understand, 265s won't rub at all, even stock.

How do you like Shaw AFB?

I like shaw, mainly because its close to home. We do tend to go TDY a lot though......some people dont like it for that reason but its not a bad base.

I just got all-terrains in 265/75/16 and there is no rubbing unless I go off-road (serious driving). I think that the extra rubber wouldn't be enough to make a huge difference between the two.

On my Tacoma they weren't a problem at first - my suspension is sagging a bit now and they rub when I pull into my driveway faster than 15 mph.

I read that someone with Limited flares had some bad Rub, but every one with SR5 does fine.

Actually at full stuff and lock you'll get very minor rubbing, but nothing to worry about.
