RS3200 Security Information Source
Like many of you, I've been trying to reprogram the RS3200 Plus security system that's in the truck. I just like to know what I can change and test out various configurations.
In looking for sources, I ran across the fax back service from the manufacturer, Fujitsu Ten. You can call them at 310-327-9905 and their system will fax to you the manuals you ask for.
You can only ask for one manual at a time, and the system says you're allowed to get just 4 per month sent to the same telephone number. The first time you call, you can request the list of all their guides.
Today, I got the owner's manual, installation guide, programming guide, and troubleshooting guide. Unfortunately, the instructions still don't work for making all the doors unlock with one click of the remote, but it's a lot more documentation than I had before.
Some important document numbers:
Installation
71999 - RS3000 for 1996 and 1997 models
81911 - RS3000 for 1998 model

I actually have the online instructions for RS3200. someone actually bought this off of ebay and when you win, they just give you the online address. I wrote email to one of the winner and the nice gentleman gave it to me for free, here it is if anyone needs it. It does work really good...just thought i'd save some hassle....and give an easy fix for people

So i don't start a new thread, is there a way to program the new 03 4Runners with new remotes? I can't seem to get the previous version, for the 99-02, to work. Anyone know?

FYI. I called the Toyota dealership and got the procedure. I will post it here for future reference. It does work, I used it.
Driver Door should be Open, unlocked and the key should be OUT of the ignition.
1. Insert and remove key from ignition 2X
2. Close and Open Driver Door 2X
3. Insert and Remove Key from ignition 1X
4. Close and Open Driver Door 2X
5. Put Key in ignition and Close Door
6. Turn Key from “Lock” to “On” and back 2X
7. Pull key from ignition
Locks should cycle (lock and unlock) twice – Now you set the remotes
SETTING REMOTE (S)
1. Press and hold the lock and unlock button at the same time for 1 second, then immediately press the lock button and release.
2. The locks should cycle (lock and unlock) 1X. If they cycle 2X, the code didn’t take. If this happens simply try the button combination again.
3. If you have a second remote, program it immediately after you program the first one.
This is the end of the procedure. Open the door or put the key in the ignition to de-activate the process. Remotes should now work properly.
