My 4runner is running 2500rpm@60mph. Does this seem right or do I need to look at adjusting the transmission linkage?

What tranny? What size tires? What engine? A little more info here would be helpful.

Is that stock 31x10.5's or the smaller 225/75r15 (or whatever they are)?

I'm guessing that you probably have 4.10 gears, but that may be wrong. If I'm right, I would think 2600 rpm's with your auto tranny is probably just right. Hopefully a few other guys with the same setup as you (tranny, tires, engine, etc) will chime in here to let you know what rpm's they are spinning at 60 miles per hour.

Hey, welcome to the forums!

My Runner runs at about 2000rpm@60mph. I've got an auto, 3.0, 3.90 rear, and 235 tires. It's also a 2wd. I don't think being a 2wd makes a difference, but who knows?

Well, not sure if that would help or not, but thought I'd mention it anyways.

Have fun.

Interesting - I have an auto tranny, 3vze, 4wd, 235/75r15 and I turn 2000rpm at 55mph. What would that be?

2nd Gen Auto V6 with factory 31's should be 4.88's in most cases. There is a code in the door jamb that you can look up on a site. Not sure which code, or where to look this up. I know the "grand poobah of yotatech" knows. Yea, Corey, I'm calling you out...
