Rough Idle & ECU Codes
Hey Guys -
I'm new to this forum, but my 1991 V6 pickup is having some issues, and hopefully someone here can help. Lately my idle has dropped down to around 500 rpms, and it tends to run pretty rough. On the way home yesterday, my check engine light went on. I pulled the codes, and I have both a 26 and a 43 code. Now she has 247,000 miles on her, so I expect that stuff is starting to reach end of life, but I don't know where the best place to start is. Should I tackle the MAF first, and also replace the injectors? I know a rebuild is in the cards at some point, so I don't feel bad about spending some $$ to get new injectors anyway. I replaced the O2 sensor about a year and a half ago, so I think this part of the loop is okay.
Any suggestions??
Thanks.
