To roll bar or not to roll bar? That is the question.

so as the title says I'm wondering if I should put my roll bar on my current truck, I had it on a 90 yota, then on my 98 tacoma, now I have a 03 double cab and i'm not sure I like the look on this truck... so what do ya'll think? do you like it or no? also if you like it would it look better if I lowered the roll bar about 2"?

If you lowered it a few inches it would look better, but I like the way it looks now as well.

it only looks good if it is custom and welded right to body/frame as though you honestly
expect to do some rolling. bolt-on cheese never looks good IMHO

I mean yes it looks nice superficially, but thinking hard about functionality comes up lacking

For looks, yeah looks pretty cool.

Personally, I would do some sort of custom head-ache rack.

the scout bar looks like it is fully welded, not a slip together...

the OP's looks more like a light bar...i would not count on it in a roll over..

a double tube bar like that looks dorky in a short bed..

A newer Tacoma is very different from a Scout, when it comes to rollovers. It doesn't need a rollbar to still be exponentially safer than a Scout .

Do that in paint or photoshop..
Chopping it might kill its value on Craigslist

A "light bar" is a far cry from a "roll bar".

i would go with a more modern bar that from 2000+ and not one from the 80s. leave that bar for 80s truck

I also am gonna lean towards no.

Thats a niiiice 4door,

Stainless headach rack would be nice if they weren't $1000 clams.
