Rims don't fit
I finally tried on the wheels that I bought and they fit fine on the back, but the inside just catches the outside of my caliper on the front. My truck is a 96' 4Runner and the rims I bought are U.S.Wheel Black Daytona's. They are just black steel wheels with ten D shaped holes and a red pin stripe. Can someone suggest a black 15x7 steel wheel with 4 1/2 to 3 3/4 backspacing that won't hit my damn caliper?

Do you know what the backspacing is on your new rims? I have aftermarket 16x8's and they don't rub at all. I checked when I got home and there is about 1/4" bewteen my rim and the caliper. Mine have 4 1/2" backspacing and it allows me to run my 33's... if that helps at all.

My new wheels are identical to Tech1 Rockcrawlers and the inside edge of the holes hit the front side of my calipers. I have read about grinding the calipers in other threads but dont know how good of an idea that is, or if it is even an option.

i hope you didnt originally have 16's and u bought 15's to save money. dont think u did, but i have heard that steel wheels sometimes dont clear calipers cause theyre thicker in some places for added strength.

My stock wheels are 15x7's and spacers arent an option because of the 3.75" backspacing. Two inches of tread is allready visable when you look down the side of my truck with the new wheels on, because I don't have fender flares or trim.

how much do they rub on the caliper and where at on the caliper... ive had to shave calipers on cars before to fit rims... you can shave a little usually depending on the design of the caliper and how much you have to take off

You bought the wrong rims. Your best course would be to sell them and get some that fit, with the correct offset.
