I know this has been beaten many times, but couldn't find a definitive answer searching thorugh old threads. I'm going to go with a 32x11.5x15 bfg m/t for now and need to get new wheels. Will 15x8s work on these and not have a problem with the tire popping off when aired down? Also if I go to 33x12.5s in the future will I be able to keep the same rims and not have to worry about anything? Lastly what is the proper backspacing, would it be 3.75"?

15x7's or 15x8's are usually ideal. I had some 15x9'2 or 10's when I ran 32's and they worked just fine. Hey, would you be interested in these?

I had 15x8's with BFG A/T's. I never had a problem with the bead popping off. I went down to 8psi and no problems.

There's actually a set of 15x7s here that I'm looking at getting for $60, that way I don't have to pay shipping. But I'm not sure if they're going to be wide enough or if I'll need 8's. Thanks tho I'll let you know if the other falls through.

i've got some 32x11.5's on 15x10's and i think the rim is to wide.... the lip sticks out some from the edge of the tread...15x8 would be better that's what my 33x12.5's are on, 32x11.5 you could run on stock rims maybe with spacers?

No worries... I think I just found a buyer. But I would agree... 15x8's or 15x7's is what you need... no higher than 15x8.

k cool, what about 33x12.5s on 7" wide wheels? Is that ok or would I be better off on 8"

I currently run 33x10.50's on 5x7 stock rims. I think it holds pretty tight when aired down. I would go with 7", it actually makes the tire taller than if you spread it out.

I ran these tires on 15x8's with no problems also.

I have run 33x12.50's on 12" rims (Previous owner did this. They were wide, but I would have gone 8's or 10's
