Revving your eng while in neutral

I enjoy the occaisional engine rev to get attention. Yes I love getting attention. Well I notice that when I do this I feel a torue sensation from the drivetrain as if my wheels are trying to turn even though it is clearly in neutral. What gives?

Glenn is right. It's the engine flexing against it's motor mounts due to the torque of your high-output 3.0.

You really don't want a physics lesson do you?

Yeah, it is normal for most vehicles that do not have transversely mounted engines to do that. The engine has a gyroscopic effect.

Get someone to press the gas while you watch the engine.

After high school, all my friends moved away. I lost contact, then slowly one by one they have been coming back here. They haven't grown up yet, so I never talk to them anymore. Damn shame it is.

I live with my best friend, and she has bigger tits than all my other friends.

Just stand in front of your truck while its running, with the hood up, and turn the throttle by hand. You can find that on the throttle body.

my motor and t-case mounts are so worn out on my truck that everything shifts over about an inch or two when i hit the gas, shifters and all

i'm thinking about getting poly motor mounts when i do the new engine buildup, don't care much about the vibration since i'm gonna be running bias ply swampers
