reusable oil filter
Has anyone seen or own a truefilter. It has an aluminum housing that you take apart and clean the stainless steel screen and reuse.I saw in petersons 4 wheel and off road.It filters 35 microns and down. The only thing that concerns me is that it dosent have a anti drain back valve. That and a 100 bucks a pop.But if you buy premium filters at 10 bucks a pop it dosent take long to pay for itself.I saw them at proficient performance for 100 shipping included. Most places I looked wanted 120 to 130 + shipping.

some of the first combustion engines used reusable filters....the inferior design prompted the disposable ones.
The one your talking about though is probably alot better though...at least i'd hope....

T 6061 aircraft aluminum and surgical stainless steel for the filter media.Sounds like its built stout.I ran an oberg on my 22re for 260 thousand miles but it dosent pass enough oil fast enough for the v6.It just didnt have the volume. The bursting strength on this one is 1,500lbs.If it didnt look decent I wouldnt even fool with it but from their pictures and website it looks pretty stout.I will find out when it gets here.
