Replacing window regulator...
The passenger side window on my pickup has never rolled all the way up. I can only assume its the window regulator that needs replaced, but I have never replaced one before. I was hoping someone would have some good suggestions on how to go about it, because I want to avoid breaking the glass. These are manual windows if that makes any difference.
Thanks!

It's not too hard to do. First take off the door handle with a phillips screwdriver. Then remove the inside part of the opening latch. Removing the regulator handle is done by taking out the C clip where the handle meets the door. Bend a paper clip so that there is a small hook at the end and pull the clip out of there. Watch where it goes flying, as you will need it to reinstall the window crank. Some people say you need a flat tool to remove the door panels, but if you are very careful, you can just pull it out of the retaining holes without any damage. The regulator itself is pretty straightforward, just two or three bolts to hold it into the door. I think you will need to roll the window up as far as you can before you start. When you remove the old regulator, prop the glass up somehow so that it doesn't fall down.
