i'm looking for an air cleaner to replace the gunked up one on my carb. when i step on the gas it's so loud that i can hear the carb over all the road noise

what are some options to replace the air filter? it has the typical 8" rectangular one(i think it's 8 inches). i see k&n makes an adapter to use their filters on my 32/36.

above all, i'd really like to find an amsoil one to fit it, but don't know what model/size to look for.
