Removing small dents ?

Last fall I had my Tacoma parked under a Hickory tree not even thinking about the nuts falling and denting the hood , top and even the sides of the bed in a few places. It's not real noticeable unless your looking for them , maybe about like a fast hail storm hit it. Is there some kind of puller I can buy that will remove them without paying a body shop a small fortune to do it? Thanks for any advice you may have, Mike

Well here in tornado alley we have lots of places that do PDR (paintless dent removal) because of frequent hail storms. That is what you want, much cheaper than conventional body repair.

second that, my parents car had hail damage 2-3 years back, and had a PDR place repair it... was done overnight, and still looks good now

Thanks for the info and the tip but I was hoping to do it myself due to the fact that I have $500.00 deductible. That's why I was asking where I could buy a dent puller just for that sort of thing. Mike

There is a PDR technique called glue popping or something like that. It uses little tabs that are glued into the paint surface and they then pull the dent out with the tab. The special glue can then be removed without harming the paint. The glue popping is used in areas where they would otherwise have to drill a hole to gain access to the back side to push the dent out (not a good thing). You may be able to buy the stuff and learn how to use it yourself. For that matter, you could probably buy and learn to use the lever arms that they use to push dents out from the back side too.
