removing running boards
My '97 has the stock running boards and I was wondering if there's anything that will hang me up when I remove them (I want a more off road look) ,it looks pretty straight forward but just wanted some input to be safe.

only thing I can think of is when you pulled ALL the bolts out and it's still hangin on somethin, there's these nail like things on both front and back that the running board hangs on to. So make sure it's off the nail before you start tuggin with all your might.

Nuts
If you have been mudding as much as i had before i put my westin side bars on you might have trouble finding the bolts through all the mud. it definately makes your truck look a lot bigger when you remove the stock side steps. but the bolts can be pretty tight to so just stick at it to get the hangers off that are attached to the chasis.

Thanks guys;they should be off by the weekend and then I'm considering the mild flares since mine just has that little rubber/chrome strip.
