the hubs are not part of the wheels..... the wheels come off by themselves.... if they arent coming off for you, there is a chance the wheels have semi-seized onto the hub and might need some persuassion with your foot or a 2x4

when you are done with the 2x4 and your foot, liberally apply them to the person that told you to take off the hubs to take off the wheels. give them the bus schedule, show them when the next bus is due to pass by and tell them to be infront of it. just trying to help out darwin.

You will also need to know how to get your spare down, and where to find and how to use your jack and lug wrench. Might want to practice this at home before you have a flat somewhere and can't get to your computer.

Here's what it looks like with the wheel off. Notice the hub is undisturbed.

Okay, I see now what you are talking about - Center Caps.
No, with manual hubs the Center Caps do not have to be removed before taking off the lug nuts. In fact, on most aftermarket rims the Caps are inserted from the backside, so you couldn't remove them before removing the wheel anyway. On the factory Yota rims you could indeed pop them off from the front if you wanted.
