Removed Antenna - Not Replacing - Hole - Cover with Grommet Bumber?
I have a 1999 4Runner. I recently removed my power antenna and do not want to replace it, so I am left with a hole. Any suggestions to cover the hole? Grommet bumper?

The teeth on the toy antenna broke, so I decided for a new look. I mounted a new antenna for a CB/AM-FM/Radio on the rear bumper. I have seen random pics of rigs with no front passenger antenna that have been capped off, so I am sure someone has found an innovative solution...

i never listen to the radio and i have thought about buying a right fender from a hilux surf and putting it on my 4runner. since the driver sits on the opposite side, they have their antennae on our driver's side and no hole on the other side. i see them on ebay every once in awhile but you have to buy them in pairs i would assume. and, they have the side marker lights on them too so you would probably want to put the marker on the opposite fender for symmetry, or it might tip your 4runner over from uneven weight distribution that last part was a joke, fyi.

You could just leave the antenna on there and loose the motor, i did that because the motor would go every time i turned the car on or off and it was buggin the crap out of me. so now i have the antenna on and can pull it up and down manually, but i always just leave it down. works for me

A rear window wiper plug for an EG Honda Civic might work. I used one on my old Integra when I ditched the retarded automatic antenna. Cheap from the dealer (either physical or online) and powdercoated black. Worth a shot...
