Rear suspension recall dilemma (Bumpstops on the 3rd gen)

Well after enough bullcrapping with our parts center here, the parts necessary to do the bumpstop recall maintenance are ready to order. Here's the catch. Toyota sent them a list of 3 parts to install per side, the bumpstop, another piece, and new coils. I tried to explain to the guy that, although my rear coils were oem, there was no way he was getting my tires back on if he tried to put the new ones. Long story short they won't install the bumpstops unless they install the coils too. They won't even discount the parts to me when I was deliberating doing it myself. Anyone have any ideas, hopefully someone from the dealership can pop in and help because it seems as of right now anyone with a lift thinking about doing the recall maintenance is out of luck.

Your rear coils are not OEM, (original equipemnt manufacturer, Toyota) they are OME (Old Man Emu, ARB) they are not stock. Not sure if that was a typo or you missunderstood the terminology.

Put on some stock size tires and springs and get the recall taken care of. Swap them back out when your finished.

But really, do you NEED the recall bump stops? With a lift, you shouldnt have a problem with hitting the stock bumpstops, right?

The coils are from a 97 landcruiser. and nice idea, but easier said than done. i'm completely swamped for the next while and don't have the tools to swap at the moment. technically i most likely don't need it, it is more for peace of mind. although i occasionally do have shock top impressions on my axel sometimes after wheeling

Im lost on why you are trying to have a fix done for a stock untouched setup, when this what you don't have. The reason they are not letting you do it yourself or only do part of the recall is because this is a safety recall. There is a liability there if they don't complete it as instructed or let someone else do it.
