Rear Leaf Spring Bushing Swap
Quick question: I'm going to put pulyeurethane bushings in my rear leaf springs, mostly because the old POS rubber ones are squeeking like a banshee. Anybody done that before? Do I need to get an impact wrench? I'd have to rent one from Kragen, so also wondering if you know what size impact sockets I'll need. Any help, as always, is appreciated. Thanks!

not sure what size. 19 mm I think. I would almost bet the bolts and sleeves will be siezed in there. just pulled my rear springs off last week. everything was siezed together. ended up having to cut the bolts as the sleeve would not budge to get the bolt out. impact wrench is a must to get the nuts off. or one big a$$ bar.

I know I'm a few years late on this one - but I just got done doing this bushing swap, and the sleeves on the rear were the hardest part. Had to resort to the cutting torch to heat 'em enough to pop out.
