Rear end Noise
The truck has a clunking noise coming from the rear end. I'm not exactley sure what the problem is so i figured i would get some different opinions. The noise doesn't start right when i start driving it will start after driving for roughly 5 min. There also seems to be alot of slack in the gears when u twist the drive line back and forth it clanges. The trucks a 85 4x4 thats welded in the rear any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've already pulled the 3rd. member and there was no srapnel. But when i pulled the axles there seemed to be a little bluing of the steel on the bearing. But everything seems to be tight in the 3rd as far as bearings seem but what about a crush sleeve what are the noises from this.
