Rear driver side leak

My wife has a 98 4-runner around 95k miles. Last night she found a small puddle under her truck (1/4 to 1/2 cup total). The fluid is light colored and slick like oil. I initially thought it was brake fluid, but the brake pedel was firm and no additional fluid appeared. When I crawed under to get a better look I found more fluid on the lower half of the shock, inside wall of the tire and sprayed into the wheel well. Any ideas of what it is? I'm thinking either a failed seal on the shock or wheel seal. I'm hoping it's the shock. Any ideas? Thanks!

Could be a wheel seal.I think it is a fairly common problem with those models. Someone else will chime in and help.
BTW welcome to YT
