Rear Drive Shaft Question

Can someone tell me what type of 4runner came with a double cardan rear drive shaft. I got what I assume is the rear drive shaft off a '96-'98 limited 4x4 4runner. Would that be correct?

My 2002 4x4 4R has a double cardan joint in the rear drive shaft.

All 96-02 4Runners had one. NOt sure if the current 03+ have them or not.

Here's a thread I started on 4x4wire asking drive shaft lengths (was going to use a 3rd gen shaft but it ended up being a little too short for my truck

Thanks, think they'll be too long for what I want.
