rear diff locker
i went to aussie lockers site and found that they dont have a locker for my 4cylinder 4runner and they sent me a pic of two different diffs.
the diff in the back dosent look like mine at all but the one in the front looks like the one thats on the 87 4cylinder 4runner in my back yard. so i was wondering if i could put the diff from the runner in my back yard in my 97 runner in order to you use the aussie locker?

Read This: http://home.4x4wire.com/erik/diffs/
Look up your axle code on the sticker on the driver's door jam, decode it using this: https://www.yotatech.com/50942151-post13.html

All 3rd gen 4runners (even the elocked ones) used the "Turbo/V6" 8" diff in the rear and Aussie does make a locker for it. Save the 4x4wire link that PismoJoe posted, I've been back to that site a hundred times - very useful info.
