I know Rear A/C was not an option in the 2nd gen 4runners in the U.S.

So if any of you European dudes or Aussies can chime in.....

Was a rear a/c unit available in the overseas market for these trucks? I did a little search but turned up no good threads.

I rented (and subsequently pounded) a suzuki grand viagra and it had a roof mounted rear a/c. That was so nice for the dogs, and it is good for humans back there. I have not done any measuring, but figure there has to be an option... there has to be some system that can be retrofitted in. If rear a/c was available overseas, that would be even better, drop in application.

Why not retrofit the Susuki's?, out of a wrecked one that is.

I am a purist, I would like to keep toyota, but it may not be an option. If toyota is not a possibility, then I'll start measuring stuff,
