Random rough idle

Random rough idle
Okay, I understand that this has been discussed and I'm not trying to litter the forum with unnecessary threads, but I feel my problem is not what is described in some of the other articles.
I recently purchased a 2000 4runner and have been very pleased. I performed the ISR and Deckplate mods already. Here is a link to my write up with pics of the mod install. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/n...s-pics-209267/
With that being said, two days ago, when I started up after stopping at home for some lunch (the motor was still moderately warm, only an hour break) it seemed to idle a little rough, much like others have described as feeling like it wanted to die. It never did and as soon as I put it in gear it quit and ran normal. No hesitation in acceleration or anything. Now, I have read all the forum threads I could find on this topic and none really had the same problem, everyone else had a consistent rough idle. However, it has not done it since that time. I need to say I also added a bottle of STP fuel system cleaner with this last tank. Could that be the cause? It doesnt seem like it should be but that and the mods I performed are all that have changed since my purchase.
I would think if a cylinder was missing due to an injector, plug, coil pack, etc...it would be more frequent. I could very well be wrong, but thats just my thoughts from experience with the motor (I used to have a 97 Tacoma with the 3.4 in it as well, performed a lot of work myself, including replacement of coil packs, plugs and wires).
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!!
Also, does anyone have a PDF file of the TSB concerning the fuel sending unit? I found it the other day and was going to print it out but never did, so I know it is still out there. Now I cannot find it in my History and REALLY want to see if Toyota will do the fix for me. PLEASE HELP!!!

My 4runner had a really intermittent miss, and it turned out to be the fuel injector. First time it did it was only for about ten seconds, then a few weeks later it did it again for about 30 miles, then a couple weeks later it did it again for a minute or so. Tough problem to diagnose, because it never did it for long. The 30 mile drive threw the check engine light and that's how I figured out which cylinder it was, touched the injector with a mechanics stethoscope the third time it missed, and confirmed it was not firing. The resistance tested fine on the injector as well. Every time it missed was always upon restart after a drive and sitting for a little while. May not be your problem, but something to consider.
