Rancho RS9000's
Well, it turns out I've got these on the brandnewsecondhandused 91 4runner I got last week.
Uhhhhh.....I haven't a clue what the benefits of these units are, although I DO know I do not have the remote control type..
Could someone here please describe how I can adjust them, or why I would do that?
Sorry for such a 'lame' question, but I just don't know...

There is a knob on top of each shock. you have 5 settings, from softest to most firm.
Make sure the front and back have the same setting.
You can get the kit that allows you to set them in the cab, although I think it is a waste of $150.
We ran these on my ex-grilfriend's Jeep Wrangler and they were very nice.

take a look at your shocks and you'll see a little black knob at the bottom. Turn these all the way to one side, then drive around a little. Then turn the knobs all the way to the other side and drive around a little. You will notice an immediate difference in ride quality. You can go from cadillac soft suspension to rattle your teeth out stiff. It's really kinda cool. I keep all 4 of mine in the middle. It's just personal preference what kind of ride you want.
I believe the knobs have 5 indent setting.
