Ok this is not a good morning. I've got a radiator I bought about 7 months ago from advance auto parts in Florida and now I moved to Virginia and this one is leaking around the refill neck on the top. Looked and looked for the receipt and none to be found... So who sells good radiators? I'm going with the best one I can find because I'm tired of all these remanned pieces of crap that just crap out on me every time I turn around. If anyone can direct me to some websites then it would be greatly appreciated!

I put a Modine rad in my 4Runner about 3 years ago, no problems so far. Came with a lifetime warranty. No idea where you'd get one in Virginia though.

I'm trying to find an aluminum factory bolt up radiator but no luck so far. Most of them are for supras and the ricer cars.

I just bought a new radiator for my '85 pickup from Radiator Barn. They beat 2 local parts stores and the local Toyota dealership by almost $100 and that included shipping right to my house. I ordered it on Tuesday and it showed up on Friday, which is very quick considering I live in the middle of nowhere.

are you sure it's not your radiator cap? Maybe the seal failed. Might try replacing that first, since it's cheap.

If it is leaking take to radiator shop have leake test it and repair it.Cheap fix.If you just got to have a new one I would search for one with a thicker core for better cooling.When I replace something I upgrade it.

Brand new cap from dealership when I bought the radiator...when I took the cap off I can see a little crack at the base inside the neck right where the overflow on the neck is at.

I did a cheap fix...I bought a non reliable radiator from advance. No since in repairing junk and I'm tired of nickle and diming it. Do you have any ideas as to where to search for a radiator with a thicker core? I found an aluminum radiator thats a direct 4runner fit but its only a 2 row design....would that be feasible?

I know many beleive in modine; I have had little luck with their product. I use "Performance Radiator" brand. Their radiators have smaller cooling tubes, so there can be more of them in the same area. That provides more cooling surface and therefore more effecient cooling. The fins are far advanced, too. contact trdparts4u.com and ask them about their "2nd" line of radiators. When I was sellling them, they were made by performance and were 1st class radiators that were CHEAP!

Once replaced, bring the old one back to Advance Auto, they should have it in the computer. Have then replace it and then sell it on Ebay and make some of your money back

I know I have bought warranty item at one store in town and replaced them through another. There was one time an item had a lifetime warranty(brake pads) and they couldn't find it in the system, just just replaced them cause they could tell that they were what they sell.

The guy is a great dealer. First one had broken in shipping not his fault and UPS was there to pick it up the next day, within a week i had a replacement.
