Quick question about mods!

After I remove the elbow and replave the filter it says I need to reset the EFU. Do I do this with the engine running or with it off?

Thanks in advance,

OFF!!!!!!!! general rule is to turn your truck off whenever do any mods.....you dont even need to reset it if you dotn want too...it'll adjust by itself....just takes about a tank or two of gas....

Thanks.

I thought that was the case but I'm a bit new to the mod life.

Dont worry, the engine will just die if you pull the EFI fuse while the engine is running. It doesn't do anything bad.

I actually pull the EFI fuse on our Accord as a theft deterrent when we leave it somewhere for a few days. No start = no steal!

Clin is right though, your computer will adjust over time anyway.

EFI fuse

Quick story about the old EFI fuse. My wife just had our second child but right before she went into labor, April fools to be exact, her and my fellow co-workers (bastards!) decided to play a trick on me. One of my good friends up her convinced her to call me and tell me she was in labor and to get over and pick her up. I'm doing inventory and she calls and tells me its go time! I fly down the stairs and out to the parking lot, jump in the truck, turn the key and she turns over but no starty? I jump out yank the hood in a complete panic and then my manager drives up laughing. They had taken my VIN cut a key to my truck popped the hood and removed the EFI fuse. Needless to say I was not laughing!

Yeah it took me some time for it to sink in. I knew it was a joke I just couldn't believe that my wife was in on it. My buddy told me it took some time to win her over on it. I am a good sport and for anyone who has worked at a dealership, particularly mine, practical jokes are a constant. It's all good though I am already stewing on what to do next April fools.

I hear ball bearings in wheels are good
I'm not sure how you pull it off but when the car is moving slowly the bearings make a racket until you speed up and the centripetal (or centrifugal?) force keeps them against the wheel wall.

I always thought I'd give that a try someday

Hmmmmm, thats a thought but I am thinking of letting some fish layout in a bag in the sun for a couple of days and then putting it in their airbox before they go home from work. Just an idea.

Yeah I have had two months to think about it now. But you know, what comes around goes around.
