quick question..
Ok, this is sort of hard to describe.. when I drive up small hills or on flat areas in O/D, when i'm around 40-45mph and the rpm is 1500-2000, I notice the ocasional very small jolt. It can almost be mistaken for a small bump in the road, I can't tell for sure but I think it's coming from my truck, any idea what I may be feeling, doesn't seem to be a problem/hurting..
thanks,
-Bryan

Does it feel like the engine is missing? Hmmm, poorly worded. Does it feel like the engine is misfiring? That will cause a small jolt. I noticed it on mine before replacing my spark plugs a few months back.

Hmm, no I don't think it's misfiring. Is there another way I can tell if it is? The engine seems to run great though, even at low rpm's generaly so I don't know.
At first I thought maybe there was some kinda binding someplace, but I dont think so, the driveshaft/joints have been lubed recently. Probably nothing and I'm just being paranoid.. lol.

Have you ever changed the fuel filter? If the engine is at a low rpm it's using less fuel, then there isn't alot of pumping going on, so therefore the engine is starving. I hope that makes sence. If there is stuff in the filter and the engine isn't using as much gas, then there is enough of a push by the fule pum pt move through the clogged filter.

In other words, does this happen when the tranny is about to do something?
