Questions on Husky's
My truck is now carpeted with Husky's and they look great and so far love them.
I have one problem though. Since the liner is designed to fit on the entire surface, it is interfering with my gas pedal. The liner is seated under the pedal and in line with the "pedal rod" so it makes the gas pedal extra hard to accelerate.
The gas pedal was already a bit stiff before and this now makes it extra stiff.
The only way I've thought to resolve the problem is by cutting a small piece along the rod but I would hate to do so since the liners are new. Another thing was to heat the surface and mold it to be pushed down from the gas pedal.
In conclusion, any of you second genners had the same problem when putting your new liners in?

Yes, cut a good size hole.
I posted here a long time ago I almost got into two wrecks from nailing the throttle, only to get it stuck in the small hole I cut.
((Hole is mucho bigger now))
Both times I had to shut the engine off, and almost had to steam clean my seats.

I cut a good chunk out of mine too. I was testing out my Airbox mod and nailed it in the driveway just to hear the intake noise and it stuck wide open. I got her shut down pronto but I saw around 7K on the tach I didn't care how purty they were after that I hacked a big chunk out!
