This pretty much is all I do (ask questions) Anyway would the intake manifold from an 87 4runner be the same as one from a 92 pickup???
Thanks

If you're talking about the 22RE, the only difference I've heard of (from Roger Brown I think) is that the opening on the older (85-88ish) intakes angle up or down about 10 degrees, but shouldn't affect the ability to swap them.

The intake plenum will fit. But you will also loose some power as the early intakes were not that efficient. Thats why they were replaced with the straight ones in 89. Also the 92 does not have an air valve where the 87 does. These were located under the t-body and were another reason the earlier models were low on power.

You may get better throttle response with it. You should also put the throttle body from the 92 on there also as it will eliminate the air valve which robs power.
I have heard of claims from people getting 8 more hp from this swap. Personally, I noticed a lot better throttle response and maybe a little better power.
